Alabama Youth Field Trial Association

Free-of-charge, this bird dog training seminar for Youth Field Trialers will be held in Union Springs, Alabama on Saturday June 26, 2021. Sponsored by Purina and the Alabama Youth Field Trial Association (AYFTA), the Seminar is FREE for youngsters under 18 years of age and their families. A free lunch will be provided by The National Open Shooting Dog Assoc., Sedgefields Field Trial Club, Conecuh Station Field Trial Club and the National Amateur Free-for-All Championship.

Round Pond Field Trial Club presents the 1st Annual Round Pond Youth Classic! Continuous course Horseback stake is an AYFTA and Dixie Trace Points stake. Walking stake placements receive points towards NBHA Youth Handler of the Year Award. 20 minute stakes for handlers 17 and younger. Judged to Gun Dog Standards. If needed, bird dog will be provided. Ribbons for all Walking stake participants; 3 placements for Horseback stake. Judges: Horseback stakes: Dan DiMambro, Big Rapids, MI, and Hank Lewis, Louisville, OH. The Mike Reynolds Memorial Youth Trial held on the Reynolds Farm in Mathews, AL is for handlers 17 and younger. Saturday, December 21, 10:00 am. Dogs are judged on Gun Dog Standards, 20 minute braces. Alabama Youth Handler & SBHA Points Trial. Entry fee: $20.00 graciously paid by Chris and Cindy Sellers, Selma, TN. Judges to be announced.
