SUMMARY:First Annual\, CT Youth Field Trial & Training Day!
DESCRIPTION:All kids\, ages 5 — 17 are invited to participate in this first annual Connecticut Youth Field Trial and Fun Day. The youth trial will be preceded by a bird dog training and handling clinic. Mark your calendars for June 22\, 2025\, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The event will be held on the beautiful Markover Hunting Preserve located in central Connecticut (Danielson). All pointing dog breeds and of any age are welcome (registered or not). Judges: Tim Cavanaugh\, East Hampton\, CT\, Brian Dix\, Wilmington\, VT\, and Rob Hopkins. Entries close on June 1…get ’em in! Contact Kaitlyn Judd at 860-455-8129 (call or text) or email. \nKnowledgable field trialers will conduct the training clinic and judge the trial\, giving a helping hand along the way. No previous experience is necessary — just a love of dogs and the outdoors! \nRosettes\, lanyards & top notch handler whistles and other prizes will be awarded to the trial winners. All the youth trial handlers will receive a gift bag from our sponsor Purina Pro Plan. Training clinic and youth trial are free of charge!  Lunch and snacks will be available for a small fee.
