2024 Kevin’s Southern Game Fair

Youth Field Trial Alliance was once again invited to participate in this wonderful event…it’s 7th year! Date: November 9, location: the exquisite grounds of Chinquapin Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. We did something a little different this year. (The hurricane in late September interfered with getting a youth demo organized.) Directors Claudia McNamee and Chris Mathan were joined by friend and youth field trial supporter Til Hankley at our booth where lots of game fair visitors stopped by to learn about youth field trials both in the area and nationally. We had a successful raffle and thank everyone who purchased tickets for our basket of “youth field trial” goodies! Two young helpers drew the winning ticket…belonging to Terry Whigham!

We thank Kathleen and Kevin Kelly for their continued support of Youth Field Trial Alliance and the increasing number of young handlers finding joy in our wonderful outdoor pursuit with bird dogs!

Field trialer Harrison Lee driving the dog wagon at the Game Fair!

Two potential youth field trialers? We say yes!

Babe and Silk debunking the myth that Pointers aren’t affectionate!

Thanks to our two raffle girls!

…and the winner is…!
