First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone who has supported YFTA over the past several years. Your engagement has helped increase awareness and build interest around youth field trials and their benefits, both to the kids involved and our field trial sport overall. Inspired by an insurgence of interest by pointing dog field trialers as well as youth trial enthusiasts, our momentum resulted in YFTA becoming a non-profit corporation. In November 2022, YFTA established its new status in the State of Georgia and we are now awaiting our 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS. This means your financial contributions going forth will be tax-exempt upon our IRS tax exempt approval and notification.
Your support is paramount to our success as it enables YFTA to promote youth trials nationally through an expanded number of communication channels. Contributions will also directly support educational seminars and training for youth handlers, and will allow us to provide greater assistance to field trial clubs across the country that are focused on hosting youth trials and engaging more people in our sport.
Again, thank you for your investment in the future of youth field trials. Every donation is appreciated and helps further our cause.
With much appreciation,
Chris Mathan, Patty Ewer & Claudia McNamee
