Many many thanks to the professional trainer/handlers who conducted our Youth Handlers Seminar on June 11th at the beautiful Shadow Oak Plantation.
Judd grew up bird hunting with his grandfather in South Georgia. He began training as a professional in 1999 and was managing a quail plantation by the age of 25. He was introduced to field trials by Lee Phillips and Ron Deal and worked under Billy Wayne Morton and Fred Dileo. Training for the public for the past 10 years, Judd is well known for his skills developing young dogs and as an exceptional scout.
Jamie has been active in field trials, starting out with all-age handler Fred Dileo in 2001. He is the breeder, developer and handler of his highly successful Rebel line of all-age pointers, his kennel located in Dawson, Georgia. He has won most of the prominent wild bird all-age championships from the South Dakota praires where he spends late summers training down throughout the Southeastern US. His motto to becoming a successful dog man is hard work.
Jason grew up hunting and fishing in Southwest Georgia where he has worked and managed private quail hunting plantations for the past 23 years, training and readying dogs for the hunting seasons and for field trials. He spends late summers on the SD prairie where in past years he learned from some of the most accomplished trainers in the sport.
Chris is fortunate to have been around several accomplished dog trainers. Ferrel Miller is his mentor and taught him how to train bird dogs. He’s had the opportunity to train several all-age field trial winners. Chris trains and sells hunting dogs and enjoys spending time with his family.
